The star of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and her husband, Peter Hermann will adding to their family with a baby, Amaya Josephine. Big brother August will be waiting.

The eight-time-award-winning documentary TORN FROM THE FLAG has been invited to yet another film festival: Kinofest NYC. This event will mark the documentary's 18th festival screening. Kinofest NYC is a film festival that celebrates independent cinema from Ukraine and other post-Soviet countries.

Time: Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 7 pm.

Location: The Ukrainian Museum, 222 East 6th Street, New York, NY (between 2nd & 3rd Avenues).

Admission: $10; you may purchase your tickets here.

One of the stars of the film and a hero of the revolution, George Mismas, will be in attendance for a Q and A session after the movie.

TORN FROM THE FLAG will be in competition for the "Audience Award - Best Feature Film or Documentary." Make sure to tell the organizers that you are voting for TORN FROM THE FLAG!
